On Wednesday, August 18 Paz carried her newly-born son, Lenon, outside a hospital in Madrid, Spain. The baby was born on Friday, August 13. CONGRATULATIONS to the family!! =)

Paz’s newest movie, “La venganza de Don Mendo Rock” has been completed and the official Press Conference took place yesterday at “La Casa de la Cultura de El Coronil” in Sevilla. You can read the article [in SPANISH] HERE!

“La Venganza de Don Mendo Rock” (a.k.a. The revenge of Mister Mendo) is a new Spanish comedy, by director José Luis García Sánchez, who sees Paz’s return in a comic role. The shooting is already started in Alcalá de Guadaira (Sevilla, Spain) and the movie will be out this year! Watch the VIDEO to listen to Paz, Fele Martínez and José Luis García Sánchez talking about the movie and how they are happy start this project!

Paz has been awarded with the special Sevillan award “La Medalla de Oro de la Provincia de Sevilla”! It’s the second Sevillan golden medal for Paz! She received the first one two years ago.

Unfortunately, Paz won’t march at the Cannes Film Festival montée de marche this year.

Anyway she has revealed that she will join the cast of Paul Schrader’s new project, “The Jesuit”, which has already casted Willem Dafoe, Michelle Rodriguez and Oscar Isaac!

SHORT PLOT:

Storyline revolves around a man nicknamed “the Jesuit,” who is imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. When his wife is murdered and his son kidnapped and taken to Mexico, he devises an elaborate and dangerous plan to rescue his son and avenge the murder.

Paz has finished to shoot “Il fiore del male” and “Roadkill“.
