As I promised I’ve just updated the Gallery with new pictures (some are not very recent but I hadn’t uploaded them, yet!). As you may know Paz is filming Grace of Monaco these days, in which she plays Maria Callas next to Nicole Kidman (who’s playing Grace Kelly). I’m going to update about this movie,too. It seems official that Paz will play as Princess Fortune in an upcoming Italian movie about Niccolò Machiavelli, who will be played by actor Jean Marc Barr. The movie, which is entitled “Machiavelli, il principe della politica” (Macchiavelli, the prince of Politics), will be shot between April and the end of May.

Today is Paz’s birthday and I’d like to wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY from Paz-Vega-Online!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAZ!!

To celebrate it I added some screencaps of one of her latest films, “Vallanzasca – Gli angeli del male” (Angel of Evil – Vallanzasca)!

On Wednesday 23rd Paz is going to receive an award at the seventh edition of the FICA (Festival Internacional de Cine Acapulco).

Paz in on the cover of the September issue of the Spanish magazine “Yo Dona”! Look at the wonderful pics of the photoshoot!

I’ve also added a bunch of photos of Paz having fun in Ibiza with her husband, Orson!

It’s been rumored for a long time, but now it seems an official news! Paz will play the role of Mary Magdalene in a movie, which seems to be entitled as MARY (I hope they will change the title, because it’s the same of Abel Ferrara’s “Mary” (2005) with Juliette Binoche as Magdalene). By the way I think that Paz is a great choice and I am sure she’s perfect for this role!

Paz herself shared the news through her Facebook Official page PAZ VEGA OFICIAL. Here what she wrote:

Hi there! I would love to share with all of u that I’m going to start to work in a very interesting project named MARY, since the coception till the crucifixion of Jesus. And my role will be MAGDALENA. Big kiss!!!

Paz will be among the jurors of the 2011 edition of the Shangai International Film Festival (SIFF) which will take place between June 11th and 19th!

Unfortunately I won’t be able to update in real time but I will upload all the news/photos asap!

As you may already know May 11th was the first day of the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival and Paz attended at several events, including the Premiere of “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”! I’ve uploaded some photos in the Photo Gallery (more to come), plus some from the presentation of Paz as the new face of L’Oreal de Paris!
