It seems official that Paz will play as Princess Fortune in an upcoming Italian movie about Niccolò Machiavelli, who will be played by actor Jean Marc Barr. The movie, which is entitled “Machiavelli, il principe della politica” (Macchiavelli, the prince of Politics), will be shot between April and the end of May.

Today is Paz’s birthday and I’d like to wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY from Paz-Vega-Online!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAZ!!

Check out some stills from Paz’s latest project, “Las Dos Marías”, a Spanish television miniseries realized in co-production with Italy and Germany. It tells the story of Mary,the Virgin Mary, (played by Alissa Jung) and Mary Magdalene (played by Paz).

It’s been rumored for a long time, but now it seems an official news! Paz will play the role of Mary Magdalene in a movie, which seems to be entitled as MARY (I hope they will change the title, because it’s the same of Abel Ferrara’s “Mary” (2005) with Juliette Binoche as Magdalene). By the way I think that Paz is a great choice and I am sure she’s perfect for this role!

Paz herself shared the news through her Facebook Official page PAZ VEGA OFICIAL. Here what she wrote:

Hi there! I would love to share with all of u that I’m going to start to work in a very interesting project named MARY, since the coception till the crucifixion of Jesus. And my role will be MAGDALENA. Big kiss!!!

Paz will be among the jurors of the 2011 edition of the Shangai International Film Festival (SIFF) which will take place between June 11th and 19th!

Unfortunately I won’t be able to update in real time but I will upload all the news/photos asap!

As you may already know May 11th was the first day of the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival and Paz attended at several events, including the Premiere of “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”! I’ve uploaded some photos in the Photo Gallery (more to come), plus some from the presentation of Paz as the new face of L’Oreal de Paris! As you can see I changed the layout of the main site and I added another one in the Photo Gallery! I updated the Paz’s Filmography section and I also added a lot of screencaptures from the 2003 Spanish movie “Carmen”!
